Review on Afro-Asian Literature

Being able to survive in this wonderful world for 18 years, I would say that I have read lots and lots of books. I have encountered many stories as I continue my journey as students.

But as years go by, I am wondering why there are lot of things which I consider as not new to me and yet I am still not a master of it. Yes, it is true. And way back in my high school days I couldn't forgot that we have had discussed the Philippine Literature, World Literature and Afro-Asian Literature but if you'll ask me to recall all the topics and stories that we have encountered, sad to note, I wouldn't be able  to recall all of those. Even in mythology, I could only enumerate at least 5-6 stories  which I consider as familiar to me but then I couldn't utter it word for word, or should as say I couldn't give you the exact detail of those stories. Seems funny but is disgusting, right?

Everything therefore, must really be reviewed for us to be a master of it. Just like in my case, I would be a future English teacher someday (if God would allow me,too) and yet telling detailed stories is not my forte. I know that I will only be a master of a certain story if I will going to read it or review it over and over until I would not have to use books and other basis for a certain story that I will share for it to be told clearly and in a detailed way.

That is why I can't describe how thankful I am when I began my voyage as a college student knowing that I would be able to review the important things that would help me as a future English teacher. For I know that reviewing and knowing the enigma of Afro-Asian Literature will made me glad because I know that for sure, it would serve as spring-board for a wide learning. ♥
